Oh, how cool is that! I'm new here, and I think that's the most awesome thing I've read so far.

I love my Stros....grew up watching them in the Dome, and I would give my left kidney to see them in the world series.

(my second FR post)

"The best fans in baseball,....."

Post season fans are not the same as regular season fans.

I was yelling at the tools who were leaving early in game four of last years World Series. How could anyone leave when the Red Sox were about to win? I am a Cards fan , but more of a baseball fan, so I didn`t want to miss seeing the Sox win ( even though it busted my gut to watch it ).

Hope the Cards can pull it together.

I wonder how many "doom and gloomer" Astro fans have a change of heart about now?

But it ain`t over till its over, so I am sticking in there.

Go Cards !!

Two posts and you are offering up your kidney?

Most just offer their spleen to this board.

I hate the vulgar chanting also. I don't like the trash talk that sometimes pervades these threads. That's why I've avoided them, for the most part, throughout this series.

When the talk educates me about baseball, and some of the things I might not know from the "commentators" on TV, they are really helpful.

May the best team win, and I really won't be very unhappy if it's the 'Stros, the White sox, or MY Cards. This is a win-win!

Keep the bases empty when the Cards first baseman is batting.

Oh, they'll probably show up late in the game. Someone will have to keep DFU busy on another thread so he can't jinx this one.

I'd say the 3 remaining teams are the 3 best in baseball right now.

I doubt they can get three outs out of him, but it is the bottom lineup for SL.

What can I say?....I love my Stros!!!! Nothing equaled walking thru a dark tunnel and emerging into the lights of that dome. And every high school in Texas dreamed of playing a play-off game in the dome.

And Nolan rocked! I was there the night Morgana caught him.

The Astros have waited a long time for their first World Series appearance. Here's hoping they make it.
