I am serious. Bush came into the Presidency. Most people were not thinking much about terrorism & neither was he.
His administration made some mistakes vis a vis Able Danger. Probably 1/20th of what Clinton did in this regard. Maybe 1/100th. But enough for him to want to cover it up.

Not anyone that far down, probably. But info doesn't come directly into the hands of the cabinet Secretaries.It comes in and filters UP. Yes, I do think it could be waylaid by some career desk jockey with an agenda. Especially if he was on the lookout for it. Anything is possible. Someone didn't do his job and a lot of people died. Can't you just imagine what's going thru this person's head? "OH MY GOD!!" and the docs hit the shredder.
Word got to the "previous administration".Hillary couldn't run as the Second Coming of Clinton if word of this disaster got out. And so Berger was sent forth. Jamie Gorelik was placed etc.
