Rep Weldon to give major House Floor speech on Able Danger momentarily; ON CSPAN NOW

Rep. Kirt Weldon is on Michael Savage's radio program, and he is implying Rumsfeld is the one blocking further investigation into Able Danger.

Weldon is fuming; says he personally (in a committee hearing) asked Rumsfeld about the investigation being blocked. Rumsfeld replied that he would 'get back to Weldon with a response.' Weldon says he still has gotten nothing from Rumsfeld.

Weldon to give a speech in a few moments this evening on the floor of the House. It should be aired on CSPAN this evening.

the hanger on's from clinton adm are pulling all the tricks they can to destroy Able Danger and the brave men who are risking all for the truth to come out.
If Bush ads people are complicit with this then they need to go as well..I have never been so proud of a congressman as I was tonight ..God bless you Congressman Weldon and keep you. Able Danger is without a doubt going to come out into the light of day this must happen. at FR we may have help change Bushs stand on Open Borders we should not let this die. Contact your congressmen and senators and GOP we need to put as much pressure on as FR can.

Also Tony Snow, he was saying back in July that a big story would break in the fall on 9/11. But he has been very quiet lately..was the pressure put on him to back off ABLE DANGER?? Folks this story has big people who do not want it coming out..FR and Talk radio can keep it going.

The official, William Dugan, was asked why the Pentagon had not given the Able/Danger data to the FBI.

"We're a lot smarter now than we were in 1999 and 2000," replied Dugan, who testified that the Pentagon instead destroyed the huge volume of material gathered by Able/Danger, which was disbanded in late 2000.

Weldon said that Schaeffer was now being charged with the pen incident that happened when he was 15. They brought the theft of gov't property charges from information Schaeffer volunteered on his security clearance paperwork.

Weldon inferred that Schaeffer would could have also been charged for the new pens that were in his personal effects that he didn't pack, but Schaeffer reported them. It looks like a set up they didn't get away with.

I used to listen to him. Then he went off the air for a while. Then came back as have-to-pay-to-listen.

He was good, but not that good.
