Court issues warrant for DeLay, sets bail:

AP By William L. Watts

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- A Texas court on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant for former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, and set his bail at $10,000 in a routine step before his first court appearance on conspiracy and state money laundering charges, the Associated Press reported. The issuance of the warrant is "a matter of routine and bond will be posted," DeLay attorney Dick DeGuerin told the A.P. The lawyer said DeLay would make his first court appearance Friday morning. DeLay, who remains a member of Congress, relinquished his leadership post last month after being indicted on a charge of conspiring to violate state campaign finance laws. DeLay contends the charges are politically motivated and that he will be vindicated at trial.

Duquesnay is her maiden name, her married name is Bankston. Her husband is a liberal lawyer and former Chairman of the Democratic Party of Ft Bend County.

The campaign manager was a former partner of DeLay's in his pest control business. She has sued him several times over problems with the books of the old company. Her name is Blankenship.

Yes, Milton Wright is still the sheriff, and a former Texas Ranger.

We need to push for legislation that disables bs like Ronnie Earle is pulling. And we need to make an example of Ronnie Earle and 'fix' him so good that Dem attorneys everywhere will think twice before trying to ruin someone's career based on partisan dirty politiks.

Will call my rep. tomorrow. Time to get rid of the 'indict a ham sandwich' mentality.

Its time for Justice.. justice is what we are starting to crave, and justice is accountability for lies and crimes. Its time to stop "moving on."

Absolutely! The 'ham sandwich' mentality has grown tiresome.

Do you know the outcomes of the suits?

"Where is things like this happening from the Republican side?"

I though the idea was that Republicans don't do these kinds of things.

Am I wrong about that?

Do we really want both parties doing this to one another?

Not interested.

I found an article on Sheriff Wright that was interesting. He was in "the number five car in the line" of JFK's motorcade in Dallas. Car number 5 carried Dallas mayor Earl Cabell and his wife and J. J. Pickle.

GONDRAMB WROTE: "I would think you could get a change of venue or judge if that happens.. but who knows.. I don't know the politics out there."

DeLay's lawyer needs to have it sent to Tarrant County, TX. It is my understanding that Tarrant County had the SECOND HIGHEST net votes for Bush in the country.

Mo1 WROTE: "Isn't that report about Bill and Hill sicking the dogs on their enemies due to be released soon???"

Mo1 ADDED: "The report Kerry, Kennedy & Durbin trying to get squashed in the Senate."

RASTERMASTER RESPONDED: "I thought it was released today...but yes, it is going to drop on the Clintons soon!"

I haven't heard about such a report. Tell us more. If it has come out already, where can we get a copy of the report? Who is/are the author(s) of it?

HUMMINGBIRD ASKED HOUSTONCURMUDGEON: "Have you ever met Earle or DeLay, HC? I wish I knew more about both of them and had a personal reference on each."

Unfortunately, I believe my nephew-in-law works for Earle and worships the ground he walks on. Kind of makes you want to throw up, doesn't it? Of course, he's a RAT himself and thinks he wants to run for DA somewhere someday.

It would be nice to make Mr. Earle go to trial

Oh, he will.

Believe that.

Mr Earle may wait in line and will keep.

For Mr Earle will burn in Hell.

I have never so much as seen Earle. DeLay however is my Congressman. I see him at political and charity events in Ft Bend County 4 or 5 times a year and at restaurants a couple of more. I have had a couple of political discussion with him and more with his staff at his Stafford office. He is always the typical, professional politician and we are in no way close enough that I would know anything not published.

Hiding the Cisneros Report
Hillary Clinton's lawyer is staying very busy.

Friday, October 7, 2005 12:01 a.m. EDT
(snip)

We'd have thought that question would be on more Washington lips as the report of Independent Counsel David Barrett languishes under seal at the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Barrett is the fellow who began investigating a tax-fraud case involving former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros but expanded his probe to include alleged abuses by the Clinton Justice Department and IRS.
