President Bush said yesterday that his goal is eventually to expel "every single" illegal alien from the United States as his administration pressed Congress to pass a guest-worker program.
Although conceding that the administration cannot immediately deport the estimated 11 million illegal aliens who are here, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and Labor Secretary Elaine L. Chao told Congress that a temporary-worker program would give aliens an incentive to come out of hiding and let them work legally for six years before being forced to return home.

There is no reason why any of us should welcome millions of foreign nationals who have proven themselves to be more than willing to break the law to get what they want. If this country ceases to be a nation of laws, then we all suffer.

There have been thousands of crimes committed by illegal aliens and the solution is not letting in everyone who wants to be here and then sorting out the violent ones after the fact. Millions have come here legally and I see no benefit to ignoring immigration law.

OK fine, change current immigration laws. We no longer have a problem do we. By the way It's my contention that these people don't need to be persuaded to be free.

It's one thing to say this 4 years after 9/11. I want to see some action right now. Enough BSing, drafting stealth amnesty schemes, and commissioning studies. GW knows what to do, I suggest he gets moving. I agree with his action in the war on terrorism but his domestic policies suck.
