1781 British General Lord Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown,
effectively bringing an end to the American Revolution. Pleading illness, Cornwallis did not attend the surrender ceremony; his second-in-command, General Charles O'Hara, carried Cornwallis' sword to the American and French commanders. As the British troops marched out to surrender, the British bands played the song "The World Turned Upside Down."

They loved it! Got compliments from one councilman who sits on the airport commission on how clean we left the area, his words "The Scouts left the area cleaner than what found it." The council was in awe that we had 150+ Scouts and adults in attendance.
