Homosexual Torches Home While Faking Anti-Gay Hate Crime

LAKELAND, Florida, October 17, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A homosexual man has been charged with arson and insurance fraud after setting fire to a home that both he and his homosexual lover lived in.
Christopher Michael Robertson, 23, made the arson appear to be a hate crime, by spray painting “die fag” on the home’s steps before setting the building ablaze. The derogation was an apparent attempt to scare the man’s homosexual partner, Paul Day, away.

How about a Federal Law stiffening the penalties for falsely reporting a "hate crime". I have long contended and continue to support a law that if you falsely accuse someone of a hate crime you serve the time in jail that they would have for the crime. If you do not accuse someone specifically, then you receive atleast half the time such a crime would carry.
