Hey Wally! Gee why do you have explosives under your bed?
Ahh, knock it off Beav and mind your own business!
Gee Wally I hope you don't hurt yourself with those explosives.
Beav, knock it off and just go to sleep.
You worry too much.
I live in the area where it happened. I was talking about the local newscasts, which aired at 10 pm that night.
I'm not buying it.
Just my opinion but anyone can write "your" suicide note on your computer....after yer dead.
What are you talking about? What do you know about this story?
"Suicide note" ping.
"It was a single line of text on his computer," said the father, who lives in Colorado Springs. "The cursor was still blinking at the end." I believe that when pigs start flying.
First there was no note and now there was a note?
Yes, I have, but sometimes they get them right too. I would just like to have someone else verify this, though, before I say this is what happened. Unlike CNN, I'm trying to get it right.
Have to wonder what he means by "the situation." That seems an odd way to phrase personal sadness or anger, in my opinion. Why wouldn't he have written that he was dissatisfied with "MY situation?" Does it strike anyone else as odd?
Did you see the Hinrich's brother (and someone else) interviewed last night on Kasich's show? It was really weird.
That was the brother and an Oklahoma congressman. They've discovered the story and are doing their best to shut it down. The congressman has been on two days in a row now.
They stated that the only information released by authorities was Boren's first statement which was read aloud by OUPD. Here's a link to Boren's first statement which you can download from my blog.
I'll check out the other stations to see what they have for that night...
"...while Heinrich left an obscurity on his PC which his father probably did not know how to operate. Fiction again."
Probably not, as someone posted on this board copies of a patent application for computer hardware in the father's name. (you may still be right about the fiction, but probably not about the father's level of computer knowledge.)
Did it sound to you like the brother was lying? Because he kept stressing how troubled Hinrich's was, and I kept wondering why Kasich never asked if anyone had tried to get him help.
And unfortunately, nobody mentioned the Pakistani roommates, the stuff the bomb was made of, or anything else.
It just sounded to me like someone told the brother what to say. Same with the Congressman.
Here is a link to the Ch. 5 KOCO report listed as updated at 9:57pm October 1: http://www.channeloklahoma.com/news/5046390/detail.html
SQ: It doesn't seem that this message was written by a native speaker of the English language. "Dissatisfied with the situation"? "Quit living"?
That is strange phrasing.
Almost as strange as his comment when told his son had committed suicide.
"I would have been there within whatever the speed limit would allow me to be if I had any inclination that he was this unhappy," the father said from his family's home in Colorado Springs the day after the explosion.
Speed limit? WTF? And then last night on FOX News his brother said that Joel had gone through a lot of abuse growing up. He cited "other kids picking on him" not the family but dad didn't know he was "this unhappy" and bro states "he endured a lot of abuse." And Boren states as a matter of fact that "he was a very troubled (person)." Everyone but dad and his roomie seems to have known this kid like the back of their hand, no one is surprised he killed himself, yet he turns his college dorm room into a munitions plant and "no one knew!"
