Protesters Gather at Clinton Fundraiser
From Times Staff and Wire Reports

This photo provided by the Women's Foundation of California Friday Oct. 14, 2005 shows Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, left, talking to actor Ted Danson at the Women's Foundation of California Gala Benefit in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005. Clinton has nearly $14 million in the bank for her 2006 re-election campaign after raising more than $5 million in the three-month period that ended Sept. 30, aides said Friday. About 30 antiwar protesters staged a demonstration Saturday outside a Hancock Park fundraiser for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.).
The activists chanted slogans and waved pink banners.
"We need to appeal to Democrats to support real leaders," said Marcy Winograd, 52, president of Progressive Democrats of Los Angeles. "Hillary Clinton leads us to war. That's not the kind of leadership we need."

"Hillary Clinton leads us to war. That's not the kind of leadership we need."
But in the last election, RATS wanted a war veteran. I maybe more confused than they are...

Please. Put quotes around that word. A war "veteran".
And a war "veteran" who voted against the 80 billion before he voted for it.
Or did he vote for the 80 billion before he voted against it?
Now I'm confused.

ROTFLMAO! You guys! After Ted's liaison with Whoopi, I guess nothing's embarrassing now, not even being photographed with a Libby Warmonger!

Hillary is not as purty as Whoopee is. Ted must really be hard up.

I hear that Ted still has a large supply of heavy duty paper bags.

Say, now THAT'S embarrassing! Sometimes the people I least expect to be literate blow me away. Frznk Zappa comes to mind, rest his soul.

"After Ted's liaison with Whoopi, I guess nothing's embarrassing now, not even being photographed with a Libby Warmonger!" Danson used to date Whoopi?? She's almost the ugliest woman alive in my book! They're both idiots, but that goes without saying.

Hang onto your doo-rag -- it was more than dating, ya know? They were intimate and blasted it all over Hollyweird when Whoopi hosted the Awards...pee-yew!

Ok when I go to LA I want to appear to be a hawk, so you get your people to stage a small demonstration outside the place. Not too big so as to turn off our people, but just big enough so that our people in the press can help us soften the hard right and moderate Republican voters. We already have the women, but we're going to need more men, who right now are convinced that I am weak on defense like Billy and I were during his administration. We are going to need to pull the wool over their sexist looking eyes, so make sure you do a good job and I'll see to it that you have a job in the travel agency.
Next week get some of my girlfriends to stage a protest that I am not doing enough for the lesbians and gays. But remember we can't come across as being too right wing or our liberal friends might think we are actually believing our own propaganda.
Regards,
Hillary

I think he went into Cambodia first... Yeah, in 1968 when "President" Nixon ordered him there.

At the '08 demo convention(if it is not the Hillary coronation in New York I'll eat my hat) don't look for any protestors.

The phony beast will spin her head around more in the next two years than Linda Blair in "The Exorcist". Let's hope it falls off.

Good point. The Clintons are smarter than Kerry. I'd bet my last dollar that Michael Moore won't be inside her convention. He'll be "protesting" outside.
