"Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace said Friday that since leaving the mainstream networks behind to join Fox he's noticed an "astonishing" amount of biased reporting on the part of his former colleagues.
"I came from the mainstream media and I didn't used to feel this way," Wallace told WRKO Boston radio host Howie Carr.
In radio interviews he does to promote his Sunday broadcast, Wallace said, the questions he gets are almost always slanted against the Bush administration.

When confronted with this statement, she was unable to think of a single favorable news report she's seen regarding the Bush administration, or anything it's done. This is Rule Number One in the Liberal and MSM Playbook...(I got my copy. Did y'all get yours?)
"Tell a lie often enough and people will begin to believe it as the truth."

Should be an interesting Thanksgiving dinner around the Wallace table this year.

The debate as to
whether the LameStream Media is biased ended long ago, and the assertion is no longer a serious question.
When you're in a fishbowl, though, and you're put in the open sea, you have a difficult time believing the same. How long it will take for those (like Wallace) who were in the fishbowl to realize the truth remains to be seen.

Then she went on about how low the President's ratings are, and I told her that I was amazed at how high they were...Agreed. My husband and I have often marvelled at how well the election went last time, considering the magnitude of negative press that needed to be overcome. Imagine what the numbers would have been like if the president had been given a fair hearing in the press.

My mom and I saw part of this movie on TV one day.
At first glance, most would think that this is a horror movie, or scary movie, but, you eventually know the truth at the end of the movie.
The whole existence of the community and village was a hoax and a form of mind control on the villagers.
At the end of the movie you learn that it was the leaders of the community and village in years passed, that lived in the rest of society, but, got tired of the crime in the cities.
So these people ( the leaders ) got tired of the crime and decided to form a separate community and " GET AWAY FROM IT ALL " and decided to form this " VILLAGE " in the middle of no were.
In order to keep the people from venturing out to the rest of the world and society, they had to come up with a plan to keep those people there.
Their plan was to scare those people to stay ( TO STAY ON THE PLANTATION ) in that village, so the leaders of that village thought of this plan to create these bogus scary, frightening creatures ( that were bogus ).
At the end of the moive ,they would only let the blind woman out to get medicine in the rest of society for the man that got hurt.

""Looks like Chris is waking up. Maybe not so much his father's son?""Getting out of the forest sometimes helps one see the trees, and some of the most articulate voices for the Founders' ideas at the present time are former "Liberals."
On the other hand, some of the tired and shrill voices who once were viewed as leaders of conservatism now turn people off with their "my way or the highway" attack mode, and resemble the Radical Left more than they do the rational approach of great conservative thought leaders like Russell Kirk.
Once an individual gets out of the dense forest of those counterfeit ideas (redistribution of wealth, egalitarianism, etc., etc.) and is exposed to the ideas of liberty as explained in the writings of America's Founders and the literature that influenced them, that individual sees things more clearly than many of us who have tended toward "conservatism" from an early age.
When a Chris Wallace makes statements like this, we who claim to be conservatives should be welcoming his insights and encouraging his exposure to truly conservative ideas and away from the caricatures of conservatism touted by the Left and now exemplified by some so-called "conservative talking heads."
What does it say about us if we attack him as "singing for his supper" and such deriding comments without even knowing what he might be able to do with his newfound insights into the MSM?
Bernie Goldberg had such a revelation, and look what he is now doing!
As long as we 'preach to the choir' and only accept what we perceive to be 'our own,' we will not increase the ranks of a movement that could restore America's foundations of liberty.
IBM once had a magazine with a simple title:
T H I N K
Perhaps we should adopt that as a motto for conservatism.

Dittos on that one. Roger Ailes told Chris to butch it up a bit and the Fox viewers will love ya for it.

I enjoy watching Fox News Sunday. Wallace does a good job running the panel, and I haven't seen him hold punches on anyone.

Wallace doesn't come across "fair and balanced" himself when he interviews conservatives on his Sunday show. And, he bends over backwards to protect the DemocRATS. I don't trust him at all.

Our local Hispanic population is probably 90% conservative. Why? I know it's wrong to generalize but I'm too damned old to change. Anyway . . . the Hispanics I've been exposed to in my 52 West-Texas, Redneck years are . . .
1. . . . strongly pro-family.
2. . . . devout Catholics.
3. . . . proud, hard working, and have latched on to the American Dream with an inspirational passion. I know of seven of the children who graduated from high school here. All had straight A's . . . four were Valedictorians of their classes . . . two were ONLY Salutatorians.
4. . . . lastly and most importantly . . . the heads of four Hispanic families on my street insist that their children view Free Republic every day and bring at least one topic to the dinner table at every meal so the family can discuss BOTH sides of the subject. IN ENGLISH!! The first language of the parents is Spanish . . . but they insist it be English for their children. I think the fact of a conservative mindset and culture in even the illegal alien community explains Bush's stance on immigration from Mexico. You know better than I do the situation, of course, but I wouldn't be suprised if his "guest worker" proposal has its roots in the knowledge of a great work ethic and strong family ties among the Hispanic population.

It seems to me that about 37% of the population are pretty hard core democrats and would support and vote for Joseph Stalin if he had a (D) behind his name.
Sad

I agree, but, it seems in todays world in America, that the " FAR RIGHT " or the right mostly believes in what our founding fathers believed in, and I was just being general in my comments because " our side " has not been doing a good job in keeping down spending among other things.
The point I was trying to make was more in general that the left, or " LEFTIST " i.e. liberals/democrats are anti America, anti military, anti GOD, pro abortion, pro gay, pro feminism, pro UN, pro EU.

There are some who may accuse you of exaggerating the situation, but you're not.
I honestly cannot remember seeing, hearing or reading a single positive story or analysis in the MSM on anything the Bush administration has done since the immediate aftermath of 9/11. Not one.
Without exception, EVERY story is negative.

I've been thinking for a while that we're witnessing a slow conversion to the right on the part of Wallace. I've seen a glint of recognition in his face on several occasions that the other side is pushing a lie.I'ved enjoyed Wallace in the Sunday morning slot. Tony had more of a "can't we all just get along?" style of interviewing, hoping they'll hang themselves. Wallace is bit better at getting them even more unbalanced and really honing in on the inconsistencies.

Chris is always on Howie Carr's show at the beginning of every Friday show and he is funny and clearly shows a veiled but clear dislike for the left. He loves his Dad but probably has his more conservative questions due to the very nature of having been raised around his father's bias.
