The peach section is still there. A lot of the paper is still OK -- and that goes for a lot of papers I think. They are still OK for the most part, but what goes on editorially on the supposedly hard-news front page and in the editorials pretty much ruins the paper. Some days it seems like the front page HAS become the editorial page. You literally can't tell the difference anymore.
OK, but is it still printed on peach colored newsprint? I seem to remember being told that they changed that a long time ago..

That's why the printed news is continuing to decline in readership. People still just want the facts so they can make their own conclusions. Maybe after some more years of liberal education, that will change. I have found in working with teens that in the past ten or so years, they no longer know how to draw valid conclusions from facts given to them. It's begining to seem like the younger generation wants someone else to think for them. Sad.
Yes, you are correct. You can't tell the front page from the editorial page. Of course, that's because the front page IS the editorial page. (That's why Jack Kelly is religated to the (so called) editorial page ;-)
