I can safely say they are almost entirely unethical SCUM that will do and say anything to get a story -- but I think that's SOP for most major papers these days.

You are correct that the NY Slimes re-reported and re-re-re-repackaged the AbuGhraib stuff ad nauseum.. And the Boston Diocease/Priest scandals... One would think they had an agenda, eh? Seems that you are telling me that The Blade is no better. That's sad. Once upon a time it was worth reading. But the Peach Section was really peach back then ;-)(Assuming that there still IS a Peach Section... )

Oh come on. Surely there are others old enough to remember a peach Peach Section... I can't be the last remaining .... Hello, is anybody out there...

The peach section is still there. A lot of the paper is still OK -- and that goes for a lot of papers I think. They are still OK for the most part, but what goes on editorially on the supposedly hard-news front page and in the editorials pretty much ruins the paper. Some days it seems like the front page HAS become the editorial page. You literally can't tell the difference anymore.

They still CALL it the Peach (dropped the 'Section'), but it's merely a pale imitation. And I know full well what you're referring to. Sorry to inform you that due to PC & protests from the Feminazis, there hasn't been a pic of a hot babe in there since...hmmm....roughly the late 80's,very early 90's, I believe. For a brief time, they tried alternating the babe pics with 'hunks' , but that didn't satisfy the Feminazis, so they just dropped it altogether.
