What a BS defense. I know there's some perverted [and dangerous] constriction fetish going around these days, but anyone who voluntarily participates in it should be held accountable when their partner dies.

Hope this guy gets life in Cell Block D, bunked with "Big Boy"

Excerpt from the article, bolding mine:

"Sources said he described the 17-year-old girl's death as an accident that occurred when he restricted her breathing during the encounter".

Well, IMO, if that's the way to rationalize your actions, then most if not all homicides could be considered accidents.

Get rid of this POS!

He admits he restricted her breathing. Ring any bells for you? At least he admitted doing it. That's a tiny bit better than other scumbags I've heard of.

Common defense. I think every homicide victim that I have sent off to the morgue, as a nurse, was killed by accident according to the perp.

I want to know where her father was. I am 39 and despite my dating situation, I would think twice about becoming involved with a 17-year old woman-child. I guess the rules have changed.

"Behl's remains were said to be mostly skeletal." In less than a week?

It was a month before her body was found.

This case makes me sick. I fear the shrinks will save this lowlife from the death penalty.

I want to know where her father was.

Her parents had no idea she was having an intimate relationship with Fawley.

I may be wrong since I haven't followed this story closely. But wasn't the victim a brand new, just away from home, freshman in college? I'd be surprised if she told her family she was seeing anyone, much less someone more than twice her age.

She was a brand new student at VCU. But she had known the defendent through her website and other contacts.

She committed suicide and then buried herself.

That's not entirely true. Her mother knew of her involvement with Fawley.

If this is the same case I was breifly listening to on Greta the other night, I thought I heard that Fawley was seen at a gas station purchasing gas for a gas can. I can't be sure, but if it was, there was discussion that he may have used it to burn the body.
