That particular trick is known around here as SunRising, and we just lost a teenager to it around here last week. The idea is simply to cur off oxygen which leads to all kinds of hallucinations. When the asphyxiation stops, the choked person gets a huge rush and a "high". The sex is supposed to be incredible while this is happening.

Believe it or not, this fetish is VERY common among kids nowadays. They don't see it as dangerous, and it's a cheap, drug free high for them. This girl, who by all accounts willingly dated and slept with a man who was nearly twice her age AND who was an eager participant in making porno's, was obviously a bit kinkier than most and wasn't exactly what we'd call a "good girl". I personally don't find it hard to believe that her kinkiness might have got her killed.
