...though I imagine Ronnie has fully sewn up his financial needs in retirement already...by the most recent actions if not before.
These Dims (like Gore (think airlines and foreign campaign contributions) and Kurintong (Vince's Swiss trips, Freeh-exposed Saudi shakedowns, etc.) and now Earle) absolutely have down pat the background game of causing the tables to be lifted so as to let the money slide into their own pockets.

When I read this article in the morning paper, I laughed. Earle has no case, yet he's dug himself a hole he can't climb out of.
I'm not sure how he passed the bar exam.

I can't say but it will put a crimp in the prosecution and, hopefuly, lead to a charge of prosecutorial misconduct!

DeLay should quickly become a Democrat and then the MSM will defend him. Otherwise, only the charges will be the "talking points".

LibLaw 101:
1) It's not the evidence that counts, it's the seriousness of the charge.
2) It's not the real list, but it's at least factually related.

Violation of prosecutorial ethics. I hope Earle gets hung, figuratively speaking.

One riot - one Texas Ranger.
One rotten DA - one Texas Ranger (to throw Earle in jail)
To: Jim Robinson
As the saying goes - "fake but accurate"...
Not to worry, Dan R. is on the case (i.e. seeing as how Dan's daughter and Ronnie Earle are well connected to each other in Austin DU politics)

The Republicans need to reinstate Delay immediately and call Earle for what he is. This has just been a farce from the getgo.
To: lonevoice
Of course the prosecutors do not have any hard evidence to back up their money laundering charges against Delay. Of course they have a "similar" list of Republican names whom they claim wre invloved in this crime, but not the original one. Of course the whole case was manufactured by politically motivated people out to get the leaders of the Republican Party. I hope Tom Delay and his legal team continue to pursue legal action against those involved in this trumped up charge.

It's not the evidence that counts, it's the seriousness of the charge.I wondered how long it would take for someone to post that Rush saying. Did you see that crook getting into the elevator on yesterday's local news and giving his "No comment" as the door was closing???
I am still hoping the Travis DA doesn't meet the deadline for this -
Landmark Files FOIA Request with DA Earle
filed on October 4, 2005 and the Texas Rangers arrest old ronnie and his crooked office staff.
