Not quite. Ron Goldman was a healthy young man, who was brutally murdered, by a killer who walked away a free man. It's a whole other level of pain, I would imagine. But still....karma and all that.
I don't believe karma. It's a Godless and hideously unfair belief. I do agree with your point that Goldman was innocent while Shapiro's son obviously was engaging in high risk behavior. However, the grief of a parent over the loss of a child will not necessarily be less because the child was not "perfect."
