P.S. The "Finest" is a little "haven...get away" from some of the rancor on Free Republic. We're all there but sometimes need a little time out! Most of our regulars have been here since 1988. John give's a good honest perspetive from his side. We all have different opinions...but this is not the place to argue. That being said... please stop in, read John's most excellent words...(just don't expect a debate here) and enjoy a cup of coffee before you go off and head for the bigger battle debate...that is good too!!!!!! :o)
Great fire-breathing stuff as usual, with logic taking the place of rhetoric! John is the best there is...and always makes complete sense! I am sure glad he is on our side!

The Miers nomination is being called a "conservative civil war." That's not really true - conservatives have good reason to be frustrated about the deficit, immigration and the courts. Miers is just the issue on the table right now.
Before its said and done conservative will listen to her hearing and have a chance to rethink. Heck she may do so well that the Dems filibuster and then we get the floor fight after all.
I must credit this pledge to Lori, aka mama_bear who has created many beautiful graphics, pledges and threads for many years on FR. This was one of my favorites. It just seemed right (thanks Lori o:))

John Kerry and Ted Kennedy are prime examples of what 'experience' has done for us in the Senate.

Ahhh... I really haven't given up but I really started liking Laura Ingraham a few months ago.... This past few weeks she's just SO ANTI the Mier nominee. She just irritates me.... She is not giving this woman a chance and is just irritating. AND I USED TO LOVE HER...BUT...Geesh...give it a break!!!
Don't get Hannity or Tony Snow here. Always loved tony on Fox and BRIT is my favorite on weekends!
