The Miers nomination is being called a "conservative civil war." That's not really true - conservatives have good reason to be frustrated about the deficit, immigration and the courts. Miers is just the issue on the table right now.

Before its said and done conservative will listen to her hearing and have a chance to rethink. Heck she may do so well that the Dems filibuster and then we get the floor fight after all.
