I've been a huge fan of the Caribbean.

But ever since the Holloway case, rising crime in Bonaire, bombs in Trinidad, murders in Barbados, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Dominica and the BVIs, as well as a prison break in Dominica, I'm going to hold off returning there until things calm down.

Sure, there is death and destruction everywhere -- especially in NJ, where I live and NY, where I work -- but I don't want to vacation in an area where I have to actively worry about the safety of my wife and children.

Can you imagine toting those horns to a gig? Even an SUV isn't big enough. You'd have to own a bus - all for being able to toot one main note and a couple of harmonics.

I am hestant to state the facts of this case since there seems to be so many Joran supports around here but those who get it will probably be interested.

I haven't heard of those other problems. I have also been to the Mexican Caribbean numerous times and I've never had a problem. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe its because I speak Spanish and I pay attention when I am there.
