Does the MSM sense blood in the Bush administration water? That seems to be the case, judging from the breathtaking accusation that Katie Couric just leveled at it.
The context was Couric's interview of Chris Matthews on the subject of the investigation by special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald into possible leaks in the Valerie Plame affair.
Matthews was hostile enough, musing whether the Bush administration "in defending themselves against the charge we went to war for a corrupt or bogus reason, that there wasn't any weaponry, a deal with nuclear weapons, did they break the law?"
But that evidently wasn't venomous enough for Katie. She cut Matthews off peremptorily, interjecting:
"Yeah, and Chris isn't it more than just Iraq, doesn't it speak about the way this White House possibly operates" risibly seeking to distance herself from what was clearly her own notion by tacking on at the end of her question "in the minds of some?"
Matthews, perhaps shocked at the scope of Couric's charge, turned the matter back to the specific question at hand - whether the Bush administration, in seeking to discredit Joe Wilson, broke the law.
But just in case there were any doubts, now we know: Katie Couric, the most widely-watched, most powerful morning talk show host in America, views the President as heading a rogue administration whose modus operandi is to break the law. Stunning
Katie Colic is the reason I never watch the Today show. When I hear that witch's voice, the channel gets changed or the television is turned off.
No .. but this is the Loons attempt to make the Bush Administration look worse then the Clinton Administration
Try as you might Katie ... But Bill Clinton forever will be known as the President who got BJ's on the Oval Office and Raping Juanita ..
Katie often seeks to give cover to her own views by putting them in the mouths of others through the "some say" qualifier. As transparent as is the ploy, it was particularly obvious this morning, as the "in the minds of some" was tacked on at the end of her own personal indictment of the Bush administration.
She looks fat.
Save.
LOL! No doubt!
No! She champions the rapist and his enabling wife, and tis obvious she is gearing up to defend the woman who would be king. Ms. Couric's biased, far left interviewing can be expected to become even more pronounced in the coming weeks and months...she is an ardent devotee if not mouth piece for Hillary.
She is also on the General Electric payroll (GE owns NBC). Hey GE, do you have any idea why I do not offer your industrial products to my clients, unless the clients specifically ask for it? Rockwell Automation rules! ( A good part of Rockwell's stock is also owned by a conservative family)
I'm ashamed to say I went to school with her at the University of Virginia. Please don't hold that against me!
Maybe someone should ask her to back up that statement with facts or admit that she is stupid. ;)
I'm no one to talk. I went to Cornell, alma mater of Janet Reno and Sandy Berger among others!
Couric and Mouthspews are rejects from a sewer treatment plant.
I watched a couple of minutes of Chris Matthews last night...they were spinning the line that Libby was in trouble for not telling Fitzgerald about the earlier conversation with Miller. It may be that the earlier conversation was so inconsequential that Libby forgot about it, but they were putting a sinister spin on it. I guess the other possibility is that Miller's newly-discovered notes were written recently.
Yes Katie, it's easy to recognize crime after eight years of the Clintons, isn't it?
I've often wondered what Katie's DU screen name is.
I want to direct everyone's attention toone of the best articles I've ever read by Brent Bozell from the Media Research Center. These idiots seem to have this attitude that they're as pure as the wind driven snow and can do no wrong.
These news organizations (ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,New York Times, L.A. Times, Et al)have become criminal enterprises that seem to be far more interested in becoming attack dogs for the Democrats than they are in serving as goverment watchdogs for the public. No goverment watchdog for the public as these news organizations claim to be appludads, holds up or butt kisses Bill Clinton or his kind or their criminal activities. These reporters belong in jail with mugshots and wearing black and white stripes, not out here in public wearing dress clothes and sitting in front of the news desk babbling about how good Democrats are and how bad Republicans are for the country.
These people are not our friends, they are our enemies and anybody that takes up for them is our enemy also. These are not the kind of people you sing kumbya with or work with for the betterment of your community. This is us vs' them and clearly these news organizations need to be put out of business along with the Democrat party. It's as simple as that.
Couric and her kind are included in that as well.
Regards......
She's a cheerleader for the left.
LOL. What did she have to say from 1992 to 2000???
