Tax reformer Norquist to headline Grand Ol’ Party
Log Cabin Republicans largest fundraiser of the year expected to be ‘bigger and better’ than ever

National tax reform leader Grover Norquist is scheduled to speak at Log Cabin Republicans of Dallas’ Grand Ol’ Party on Oct. 15.
Carla Halbrook of Dallas, a national board member of the gay political group, said she is expecting the appearance by Norquist to make the event, the group’s ninth annual dinner and fundraiser, the best in its history.
...Halbrook said she heard Norquist speak once before at a national Log Cabin Republican event.
...The local group is paying part of the salary for a field director representing Log Cabin Republicans to work helping defeat Proposition 2 (a Marriage Protection Amendment to the Texas constitution appearing on the November 2005 ballot).
Contributions at the event range from $95 dinner seats to four-figure donations, Halbrook said.

I say eliminate the 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporations in the IRS code... The “non-profit” scam is corporate welfare in the truest sense... Norquist and his Americans For Tax Reform is more like Americans Whore for Tax Subsidies...
He sure is a hypocrite drawing that lavish salary from a “non-profit” corporation that does not pay taxes like the rest of us do.
Get rid of the “non-profits” and groups like CAIR, ACLU, Sierra Club, PETA, Greenpeace, etc., etc., ad nauseum are over... Maybe Grover could go back to Sesame Street with the Cookie Monster... Ooops! That is CPB, another “non-profit” scam! Get Grover a real job for once in his life...

Is Grover Norquist an Islamist? Paul Sperry, author of the new book, Infiltration, in an interview calls Grover Norquist "an agent of influence for Islamists in Washington." When asked by FrontPageMag.com why a Republican anti-tax lobbyist should so passionately promote Islamist causes, Sperry implied that Norquist has converted to Islam: "He's marrying a Muslim, and when I asked Norquist if he himself has converted to Islam, he brushed the question off as too ‘personal.'" As Lawrence Auster comments on this exchange, "Clearly, if Norquist hadn't converted to Islam, or weren't in the process of doing so, he would simply have answered no."
Indeed, Norquist married Samah Alrayyes, a Palestinian Muslim, on April 2, 2005, and Islamic law limits a Muslim woman to marrying a man who is Muslim. This is not an abstract dictum but a very serious imperative, with many "honor" killings having resulted from a woman ignoring her family's wishes.
Alrayyes (now known as Samah Norquist) has radical Islamic credentials of her own; she served as communications director at the Islamic Free Market Institute, the Islamist organization Norquist helped found. Now, she is employed as a public affairs officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development – and so it appears that yet another Islamist finds employment in a branch of the U.S. government.
Grover Norquist has for some years now been promoting Islamist organizations, including even the Council on American-Islamic Relations; for example, he spoke at CAIR's conference, "A Better America in a Better World" on October 5, 2004. Frank Gaffney has researched Norquist's ties to Islamists in his exhaustive, careful, and convincing study, "Agent of Influence" and concludes that he is enabling "a political influence operation to advance the causes of radical Islamists, and targeted most particularly at the Bush Administration."
But if Grover Norquist is indeed a convert to Islam, it could be that he is not just enabling the Islamist causes but is himself an Islamist. (April 14, 2005)

Socially segregated from women, Arab men succumb to homosexual behavior. But, interestingly enough, there is no word for "homosexual" in their culture in the modern Western sense. That is because having sex with boys, or with effeminate men, is seen as a social norm. Males serve as available substitutes for unavailable women. The male who does the penetrating, meanwhile, is not emasculated any more than if he had sex with a wife. The male who is penetrated is emasculated. The boy, however, is not, since it is rationalized that he is not yet a man.

Or make it illegal for any non profit to participate in the political process from donations, to laundering money from people like George $oreA$$, and any aspect of the political process.
Require mandatory jail sentences for the boards and execs of these pseudo non profits if they violate the non political action law. Each violation would result in the loss of non profit status for 5 years. Have a 3 strike policy, 3 violations and the non profit is terminated.

Norquist makes his living as a lobbyist.
Since he fancies that he has some kind of special "in" with the Bush administration (does he?), he sells his services to those who would not typically be thought of as a Republican constituency.
Thus, his dance with CAIR, and now he tiptoes with the gays.
Why he chose Texas as his first battleground is a mystery. He has no chance of influencing the election here in favor of his clients.
But, like a criminal defense lawyer, as long as he gets paid, so what?
