NO other details. Thought Enya fans and LOTR fans might be interested in this. Thank God she's alright. Anyone know about Ireland's gun laws? They are surely a lot less liberal than those idiots in England. I'd love to see Enya posing for some Ann Coulteresque photos with a 357.

The intruder, who tied up a maid during the two hour incident, made his escape before police arrived. It took TWO FLIPPING HOURS for the police to arrive?

Weird. I'm glad she's OK. I love her song at the end of FOTR.
She lives in a castle!!? Cool.

a man had made his way through the castle's defenses. What, is this like Helm's Deep or something? Did they try the vats of hot oil over the wall? Did the man have a battering ram?

Gandalf: [reads] They have taken the bridge and the second hall. We have barred the gates, but cannot hold them for
long. The ground shakes. The drums, drums in the deep. We cannot get out. A Shadow moves in the dark. We cannot get
out. They are coming.

Having one of these and being trained to use it is so much better than a "panic room." And, you don't need to wait two hours to use it.

I've read about several high-profile house-breaking cases in the U.K. over the last few years. I guess when the criminals are confident that nobody inside will have any guns, they feel more secure about breaking into somebody's house.

Enya's had stalker problems before. I'm surprised she didn't have full time security. Her home is very easy to find using the internet.

Who can say where the intruder goes,
Where the maid flees?
Only time...
And who can say if your alarm snizzles,
As your panic fizzles?
Only time...
(chants)
Who can say why your guard cries,
As your maid flies?
Only time...
And who can say why your feet flies,
Maybe if your guard dog dies?
Only time...
(chants)
Who can say when the cops come,
911 makes you feel dumb....
(you get the idea)

The intruder, who tied up a maid during the two hour incident, made his escape before police arrived. They couldn't get there in two hours? Enya, you need Plan .45! Oh, you probably can't get that.
