It was only hours after Joel Henry Hinrichs III blew himself up Oct. 1 near 84,000 football fans at the University of Oklahoma when federal officials claimed he was just a troubled young man with no links to terrorists.
But then yesterday the U.S. Department of Justice asked a federal court in Oklahoma City to seal the search warrant officials there used to get into the apartment Hinrichs’ shared with three or four students described by neighbors as “Arab-looking men.”
If Hinrichs acted alone and had no links to terrorists’ organizations or activities, why seal the search warrant? What did investigators find in Hinrichs’apartment that they don’t want the public to know?

The most disturbing hole, though, is the letter intercepted by U.S. intelligence last May from Iraq terrorist mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi to Osama bin Laden describing a “Great Ramadan Offensive.” The offensive was described as a series of spectacular attacks in the U.S. and elsewhere during Ramadan, which is in October. It is a very big why in my book. Are they in the midst of some big sweep of cells or about to do so? Or has the government (in the form of the HDS) decided to take Imperial decisions where we the sheeple need not know? Or [enter disastrous scenario here]...
If Boren had stayed off the airwaves and email, I wouldn't have been so mad but his statements added up to what I knew spelled Clintonite spin except he was not very good at it contradicting himself sometimes in the same article.
Then when I saw the video of us being padlocked in the stadium for our own safety, I became more disgusted. Who was he to tell us we were safe that night? My bag was cursory checked at Gate 7 along with others -- have seen backpacks in the stadium in the past -- security has not been very tight this year and last year was nothing to brag on but he knew we were safe. Have to be a moron to believe that.
My daughter had a CD player stolen from her car while parked in the parking garage and was told they are not allowed to have surveillance cameras in the parking garage or on campus because of legal concerns but Boren wants us to believe after first saying they were installing surveillance cameras that they are already there when the parking garages have none including the one next to the stadium according to OU PD last spring.
This whole deal smells and I want to know Boren is being such an obvious spinner in all of this. What is behind it? You could say football revenue but that doesn't cut it, I am still going to games along with everyone I know. What we want is the TRUTH! Something that seems lacking on the part of David L. Boren -- what is he hiding?
If only Sandy Berger weren't busy defending himself against spurious charges, he could fly out there and have another "center fuel tank" moment.
There is spin everywhere too coming out of the OU Administration.
I respect the Joint Terrorism Task Force for being tight lipped -- don't have a problem at all because even on Sunday evening, the head of Homeland Security for OK said this was a much bigger puzzle and they are tracking down the pieces. Haven't seen him interviewed since. That doesn't fit the Dem Governor sleeps a lot's agenda.
But Boren wouldn't let it go and his last piece about the Arab students frosted me to no end. What about American students on campus that are subjected to some of these people. They know there is are active cells in Norman, OKC, and Tulsa. In fact the one here operates out of a copy shop and they all congregate at the "Religon of Peace" Islamic Center down the street about two blocks. Now if Norman residents are aware, why are they still there. We have had all kinds of terrorists connections at OU but nothing happens.
I want answers and we are not getting them.
That's my question as well as everyone I have come in contact with here in Norman -- why is the Joint Terrorism Task Force the lead investigative Team and now why was the warrant sealed? Are the rumors going to turn into fact that indictments are going to be coming down or are they going to be sealed as well.

I too saw nothing suspicious in the car registration. I also wondered why so many of the facts we know here on FR, such as the roommate's ticket to Algeria (where is old roomie right now?), the attempts to enter the stadium, etc. are not being mentioned in these articles. But at least there ARE some articles.
Why just C_BS Evening Snooze? ...please, incl. ABCNNBC_BS in the mix...Lets' be all inclusive. :D

The question is why?
Why? Government and MSM hand in hand. Did the government bring MSM into confidence about a sting to get that cell? Did they claim National Security to get the press to shut up? What are the requirements for a NS shutdown of the press? "Loose Lips Blow Up Peeps"? And for how long must the press not report such things?
So you are saying that they are flat out lying about examining video recordings of the various gates? They are saying that they checked the videos and did not see the bomber trying to get in. Now that would be way beyond misdirection by implication and into outright falsification. Well, I guess Slick got away with it, so why not Boren as well?

Of course I don't expect him to have examined the videos himself, and he could have been lied to as well. However he attends the games too, and surely would have noticed that there were no video cameras at the gates, unless there is one at the "Presidential" gate and/or box.

The copy place is about two blocks from the Islamic Center, gives real cheap copies, owned by an Arab and sits back in from the street -- couldn't find it the first time I went there to get copies. Sits in a small strip shopping center next to O'Connell's the local hangout for sporting events.
Heard that from numerous sources here in the area.
On the surveillance video cameras -- I have no idea but others have also said the same thing about lack of surveillance cameras allowed on campus. Try to get any answers out of the Administration right now is worse then pulling teeth -- nothing is forthcoming.
When I saw Boren say they were installing surveillance cameras and then saw they had reviewed the tapes, two and two did not add up to four. Maybe they are installing more of them -- I actually have no idea.
