Coulter Coming up On Maher
Posted on 10/07/2005 7:56:06 PM PDT by Dustin Hawkins
For those with HBO (and who can stomach Maher's nauseating spiel), Coulter will be on with Andrew Sullivan, and... Ben Affleck! Ahem. Anyway...

I didn't say I applauded ANY of her remarks Where did I say that
I was pointing out the rational of way a conservative would go on a left wing show by by giving Bill Buckley's rational
Unfortuntely Coulter DID NOT use that formum to point out the fallacy of the left wing politics in which case she made a mistake

Yes
Where did I defend her remarks
My post was in response to the question of why would she go on
Maher's show to begin with. I used Bill Buckley's interview with Playboy as an example
Unfortunately instead of using her appearance to point out the fallcy of the Looney left he used it to put Bush down
BTW I didn't watch the show If all she did was attack Bush without getting on Kennedy Schumer etc for using a filibuster threat then she screwed up royally

No, our pundits are too busy beating up on the President to bother with fighting the enemy.

She surely cares about other things related to her career as an ENTERTAINER.

"While Bush was still boozing it up in the early '80s, Ed Meese, Antonin Scalia, Robert Bork and all the founders of the Federalist Society began creating a farm team of massive legal talent on the right."
And aside from Scalia, they've remained a "FARM TEAM".
No other Big Leaguers there unless rhetoric counts.
The constitution is not that difficult to understand.

Yes, but as Laura Ingraham and Rush have pointed out, the call for TV appearances has jumped considerably...

The libearals on the court sure don't think so

"The intellectual competition in debates is similar, in that a person needs to know -- having seen them a thousand times before -- all the more rudimentary traps and ambushes, and know them well enough just to brush them aside. That only comes with experience."
Or conviction.

I was just reading through this thread to see what transpired, and I come across your defense of Ann Coulter referring to Harriet Miers as the cleaning lady.
I don't think I have the words to describe my reaction. All I can say is that if you want to defend that remark, you are definitely every bit as much a Coulter-bot as the President's defenders are Bush-bots, if not more.

Please point out to me the "Liberal Intellectual Giants" on this court?
I've heard excerpts from Bryers' book and I believe that any conservative pre law major from a state university (Penn State) could take his arguments apart.
Ginsburg is a kook.
This talk of finding international precedent can be overcome by shear numbers. I see no intellectual basis for the argument?

Then you're emoting rather than thinking. Call me back when you have some rational argument to make.

No, conviction won't do it. A person must be tempered in the fire.
