A dozen midshipmen earned the grudging respect of the Air Force Academy by repainting a jet fighter on the Colorado academy's grounds blue and gold, and labeling it with "Navy" and "Blue Angels."

Yep this was a tough one for the navy.....a old inert F4 on static display in the middle of the chapel grounds on a class night. While they were off for the game and had permission to stay on the academy grounds........real tactical snoop and poop for them thar gundeckin gridiron guppies......:o)
Sorry Travis....gotta take up for my mush'zoomies till they leave the nest......but it is damn funny !

I don't know if FedEx actually flys the cattle, it sounded funny though.
Northwest used to fly some of the Kobe Cattle years ago on 747-100 freighters, well they weren't the new technology -400s thats for sure.

There was a small Navy detachment at our Army camp in Korea. Being good swabbies, they had painted their detachment headquarters building battleship gray, and had constructed a Navy mast with semaphore pennants. Those pennants were there ten years before some Army Signal Corps Officer who had taught himself flag code tranlated it: "Go Navy, Beat Army". The Camp Commander made them take it down.
