There was a small Navy detachment at our Army camp in Korea. Being good swabbies, they had painted their detachment headquarters building battleship gray, and had constructed a Navy mast with semaphore pennants. Those pennants were there ten years before some Army Signal Corps Officer who had taught himself flag code tranlated it: "Go Navy, Beat Army". The Camp Commander made them take it down.
