Just received a phone call from my Freeper wife, who works at a local hospital here in Las Vegas.
She said that Las Vegas is now on full alert.
All police, fire, EMT leaves are cancelled.
I'll post more as I hear it.
OKC, NYC and now LV....somethings going on.
**ROFLOL** I love FR!
Those Florida-bound Canucks are Quebeckers - the most aggressive drivers in North America.
The ROC(rest of Canada) goes to the South West and Hawaii in winter.
Soon as they get cash for their crop.
Thats it! Go DirtyBirds!
LOL!!!!
Indeed there is a method and that very method is what bit them the hardest. Al qaeda had a time line, roughly about every 18 months. Al qaeda also had a pattern of escalating the scope of their attacks....bigger and bigger. That is what has bitten them. They cannot top 911, especially now that the USA is FINALLY fighting BACK.
Lets just say for the sake of conversations sake, that a train wreck here, a plastic plant explosion there, or a refinery fire over there actually are Al qaeda attacks. They are dismissed as accidents and they get no credit, thus a complete and utter failure of an attack. ( 11 Set the bar to high and it backfired on them in so many ways, including blowing their method right out of the water.
Don't you worry about living under a cloud - we all do!
Come to Las Vegas (the Springs in Spanish) and enjoy yourself.
The "oven has been turned off" here in LV and it down in the high 50's at night and mid 80's in the day and absolutely georgous.
You picked one of the best times to visit LV.
Something rotten has been going on in Vegas for a long time ala Harry Reid .
Leon Klinghoffer.....may he rest in peace.
That's for sure, the weather is great right now! :)
89 posts and nobody's posted the Osama bin Elvis pix yet.
How unusual. ;-)
Please don't remind me...I received a couple of his "crap" mailers the other day...what a waste of paper.
From dictionary.com:
an·ni·ver·sa·ry Audio pronunciation of "anniversary" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (n-vûrs-r) n. pl. an·ni·ver·sa·ries
[Middle English anniversarie, from Medieval Latin (dis) anniversria, anniversary (day), from Latin, feminine of anniversrius, returning yearly : annus, year; see at- in Indo-European Roots + versus, past participle of vertere, to turn; see wer-2 in Indo-European Roots.]
There is nothing "annual" about a three month period of time.
I hate that! Sorry! People did that after 9/11 talking about the "1 week anniversary" and so on of 9/11.
Agreed.
I knew that tiger was a terrorist.
Has your contact heard of anything - alerts, warnings, etc?
They have 18-month windows AND the use the configuration of that large star above a crescent moon, depicted on their flag, like it was last night.
I'm a stickler for that, too. Do you notice words like biweekly, bimonthly, biannual and biennial are misused consistently, too? Even by people who should know better.
"it's all Bush's fault anyway, you know everything is these days."
Man that's original. Never heard it before. Did you just think that up off-the-cuff?
Somebody's gotta be giving odds on whether or not this is real or last night's drill.
