Tony's guests and topics on today's show include:

The Key Voices
We've been hearing all week about conservative support and doubts regarding Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers. But what do the conservative Senators on the Judiciary Committee think? We'll talk with Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Sam Brownback (R-KS).

Boomer Sooner
The Has-Been Media has not dealt with the Oklahoma University student who blew himself up near the football stadium. Could he have been a suicide bomber? Tony investigates.

Kettle? This is Pot. You're Black.
Bill Clinton insists that "the odds are not great of us prevailing" in Iraq. Tony wonders how the man who ran away from terrorists is qualified to make such an assessment.

All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

We need Bush-bot buttons or pins to wear--then they wouldn't have to say it. We could proudly proclaim it! I think I'm gonna shop for one....after the show! :o)

we lived in a small town that was usually Republican

It's a shame. Connecticut used to be very conservative. I think the influx of lefties from NYC and Mass. drove them out.

The upper west is still pretty right of center. For example, Ann Coulter is from that area.

Ive told my daughter, that while they may live through my lifetime, they will at least be gone within hers, if you take normal lifespans into consideration.

Peace prize---GEORGE W. BUSH!!!!!!!

In a real world, where the Nobel Peace Prize actually meant something, that would happen.

The suicides listed and the descriptions of how each one happened is about as creepy as it can get.

The Clintons and their henchmen belong behind bars.

Doesn't make a difference to me...Saddam and sons were WMD's. Any weapons were smuggled out to Syria by the Russians before the war while we were getting permission from the U.N.

Remember Richard Clarke?

Clarke, a veteran Washington insider who had advised presidents Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton, and George W. Bush, dissects each man's approach to terrorism but levels the harshest criticism at the latter Bush and his advisors who, Clarke asserts, failed to take terrorism and Al-Qaeda seriously. Clarke details how, in light of mounting intelligence of the danger Al-Qaeda presented, his urgent requests to move terrorism up the list of priorities in the early days of the administration were met with apathy and procrastination and how, after the attacks took place, Bush and key figures such as Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, and Dick Cheney turned their attention almost immediately to Iraq

Heh. He leveled his harshest criticism, during an election year may I remind, at the Bush administration. An administration in power for only eight months before the 9-11 attacks when HE belonged to an administration for eight years that did NOTHING about terrorism. So this fine and truthful, very non-partisan fellow, is now a political analyst for ABC. Not that ABC would hire a political analyst with a partisan bias or anything. Immediately after news of the alleged "White House Spy" broke, Clarke opened his mouth and inserted his lying, deceiving foot.

"I don't know of a case where the vetting broke down before and resulted in a spy being in the White House," said Richard Clarke, a former White House advisor who is now an ABC News consultant.

Poor puppy. Clarke sure has a failing memory and he isn't even that old. Below, abstracted from the FBI's own press release on the Philippino spy:

Hired in 1999, Mr. Aragoncillo also worked for former Vice President Al Gore. There is also a report of him working for the FBI at an intelligence center at Fort Monmouth, N.J.

Wasn't Clarke around during the Gore term? Aaaaaand... From the Washington Post:

Aaaaaand... From the Washington Post:

As part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in March, Chung was charged with funneling illegal contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign by asking friends and employees of his office technology firm to make donations for which they were later reimbursed. Chung was also charged with engaging in a similar "straw donor" scheme to assist the 1996 reelection bid of Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.)

Hmmmmm, 1996-also during the Clinton-Gore-Clarke term, eh? The guy couldn't wait to blame the Bush administration for this renegade spy because hey, a spy in the White House? Great sound bytes. Jump on it. Not that ABC should expect fair reporting or anything. Blame Bush first, think about it later.

FYI,

Pat Gray had Jayna Davis on his Morning show here in Houston this morning. It's the first discussion of the event I've heard in my town thus far.

I told my M O M about this yesterday. She had NO idea that anything had happened. NONE.

This is beyond bizarre.
