This morning, Doug McIntire on KABC decided he'd score points if he sounded like Jon Stewart so he trashed the President's speech, saying it was all platitudes and that everybody already knows that terrorism is real and it's bad. Oh do they? Nancy Pelosi repeated her concerns that the war is a waste of time and isn't making us safer and that, basically, Osama bin Laden is the only terrorist out there we should be looking for. Isn't the problem that people are losing focus?
Both President Bush and Vice President Cheney have, together, mentioned Daniel Pearl repeatedly in speeches because he continues to be a symbol of an American citizen who was treated by muslim terrorists the way they would wish to treat any American. And aren't you glad that President Bush is the president, and he's willing to announce to the world that we're going after the terrorists and we're not going to lie around like a bunch of whiney french losers waiting for the next bombing.
I thought it was a good speech and that we need more of them.

WOW!
Too bad Bush can't do a speech with a screen behind him scrolling through images like this. What a GREAT idea and well done. THANKS!

My response was rather primitive in nature. These animals understand one thing: absolute, crushing, cold , calculated destruction. We have the capacity to preserve civilization by eradicating this vermin from the face of the earth. The time for speeches and vocal passion has come and gone. Now is the time to (at the risk of melodrama) unleash hell.

The Fox All-Stars all agreed he should have been making this speech a month ago, but he would have been upstaged by the media's focus on Hurricanes.

I too thought it was a very good speech, very direct and on point, and he definitely named names about the terrorists and their attacks. I appreciate your posting it, and the pictures are GREAT. Thanks.

Wonderful speech. Only one criticism:
It is about 4 years and about 2000 young American lives too late.
Ignorance is excusable in the ordinary citizenship, but not in our leadership.
It took that long to see the true face of islam?
And now that he's seen it will anything change? Will we continue pi****g away our wealth with PC Homeland security instead of the infinitely cheaper controlling certain religious groups from continuing to enter our country?
Just for starters...

Very nice presentation of a very necessary message..It certainly needed to be given as it would seem there are many who still just don't get it.

"This progress has reduced the danger to free nations, but has not removed it. Evil men who want to use horrendous weapons against us are working in deadly earnest to gain them. And we're working urgently to keep weapons of mass destruction out of their hands. "Can you believe that AMERICANS deny this as truth?

I thought it was a good speech and that we need more of them.Right on both counts.
Great illustrated version, nice work
He needs to repeat this one over and over, just to get through the MSM fog.
