The president of an OU student organization said he believes Joel Henry Hinrichs III was neither a Muslim nor a visitor to local mosques. ADVERTISEMENT click here
Ashraf Hussein, the president of OU's Muslim Student Association, also confirmed that up to seven people were either questioned or detained regarding the bombing death of Hinrichs, a 21-year-old engineering student.
Hinrichs died Saturday night after a bomb he was supposedly carrying exploded while he sat on a bench next to George Lynn Cross Hall, about 100 yards from Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, where 84,000 people were watching a college football game.
While the incident and its investigation have spurred plenty of rumor and speculation, authorities have consistently maintained that there is no evidence Hinrichs belonged to an extremist organization.
On Tuesday, the owner of a Norman feed store acknowledged that Hinrichs came into Ellison Feed & Seed last week to inquire about ammonium nitrate fertilizer, which was an ingredient in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. However, Dustin Ellison said Hinrichs wasn't able to explain what he might want with the ammonium nitrate.
And let us not forget that Islam allows and encourages Muslims to lie to the infidel.
Very few non-Muslims understand this doctrine of Islam. Taqiyya roughly translates to "lying for the faith." In it, a Muslim can lie as a holy duty to deceive and gain an advantage over the infidel.
I mean, letting a terrorist you don't know but happen to be sitting next to on a bus use your laptop, your email addy, and your password - it could happen to anyone. Probably a couple of us reading this thread, it's happened to!
What a load of crap.
So if we were to accuse Ashraf Hussein of lying about Hinrichs, that would actually be seen as a compliment, would it not.
In the anti-American Leftist circles that deem good to be "evil" and evil to be "good," I suppose so.
