I agree with you. They're not patriotic, they don't care about the Constitution, but, they get all the information about it. gag.

The notion of Lisa Murkowksi as a U.S. Senator was, is, and shall remain a joke.

I hope that the Republicans in Alaska who voted for her-in the primary, if not the general election-are hanging their heads in shame right now.

Jeanne Meserve just said on CNN that the info was developed in Iraq - and it specifically mentioned bombs in baby carriages.

Also saying lack of credibility, bla bla

The fact that the OKC story isn't getting any coverage from mainstream or alternative media organs-outside of that state-is disturbing.

I thought maybe the MSM would finally start reporting on the OKC story too. When NY had the press conference, they said that a certain news outlet had gotten this information the other day but they were asked to please not report anything about it. They didn't, and they were being thanked for that.

That makes me wonder if perhaps this same sort of request has been made dealing with the OKC story. I realize within OKC reporting has gone on, so that doesn't square with my theory. hmmmm

I guess it doesn't become credible until it blows up.

NYPD: Subways May Be Target Of Attack In Coming Days

POSTED: 5:12 pm EDT October 6, 2005
UPDATED: 6:57 pm EDT October 6, 2005

NEW YORK -- Authorities stepped up mass transit security Thursday after receiving what city officials called a credible threat that the New York City subway may be the target of a terrorist attack in the coming days. But Homeland Security officials in Washington downplayed the threat, saying it is of "doubtful credibility."

Despite the differing takes on the seriousness of the threat, New York officials mobilized police officers to begin looking through commuters' bags, brief cases, baby strollers and luggage.

SNIP

...think there is nothing really more to the story at least nothing more on our local news.

"The student who blew himself up outside a packed Oklahoma University football stadium Saturday night tried to buy large quantities of ammonium nitrate – a key ingredient in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing – the week before, according to a new report.

Also, Joel "Joe" Henry Hinrichs III attended a Norman, Okla., mosque near his university-owned apartment – the same one attended by Zacharias Moussaoui, the only person charged in connection with the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, according to a report by KWTV-News 9 in Oklahoma City."

WorldNetDaily, FWIW.

I'd bet 99.9% of us could guess the right one.

Sure, blame it on the South. Happens every damned time.

So any bets on how long until the ACLU pitches a fit?
