And I suggest her family does indeed need the prayers...

Yet another doting mother who never managed to pass on a single clue about the dangers of the real world before turning her wide-eyed daughter loose.

If there is a common thread for Taylor and Natalie it is a protected and "kept" mothers who never taught their daughters to be careful, to not hang around suspicious men twice their age, or to climb in cars (let alone bed) with three guys she just met, and never go alone till you really know someone.

Its not politically correct to speak of the bereaved this way, but blame falls directly at their feet as far as I'm concerned, but no one will ever point this out publicly

Oh, stop.

Blame belongs nowhere but on the murderer. Evil is in the world and it takes victims.

It's not only politically incorrect, it's downright disgusting. These mothers were not at fault. The murderers were. I'd say if any mother was at fault here it would be theirs. And that depends on the facts. Please STOP blaming the victims and their families.

And you would know what they taught their children how?

How can any of us know what the mother taught her daughter? Do kids always listen to our advice? I wish they did but in the real world it doesn't work that way. They think they are smarter than their parents and nothing will ever happen to them. Think back to when you were young - ever do anything that would have freaked your parents out if they had known? Parents can only do so much. Tragic case. My heart breaks for the family.

I concur wholeheartedly. When I went to college, it was a Christian college with a curfew and a sign out sheet. I transferred to a more liberal Christian college with no curfew, but guys were not allowed in the dorm rooms. So I didn't feel the need to leave when/if my roommate was otherwise engaged in the room. I had a safe haven. My dorm room.

I would add that this young woman did pretty much whatever she wanted in High School as well.

I would also add that Fathers are *Very Important* to their daughter's safety. My Dad (a fellow freeper) was so careful to remind me of all the dangers out there.

Ridiculous! Blame the victim, not the perp. when we get serious about looking up these animals, making child porn a capitol offense, maybe young women will be free to go about the world in safety. If your're going to blame someone, why not these BOY'S MOTHERS?

What's really sad is how these guys think of these young girls, I listened to this Deepak talk abput Natalie Holloway the other day on Fox he actually said
Natalie quote:

Acted like a Slut, talked like a Slut and if she wasn't why would she get into a car with 3 strange guys she did not know? he said all 3 had sex with her but did not kill her.... right!...

The problem is the girls now a days think they can act like how most men have acted in a premiscous way and do not realize the danger they are truly in.

But her mother could have taught her all those things.

Lots of parents teach, and tell, and nag, and fuss, and
teachtellnagfuss some more.

And still, the children go off and do stupid things...
because they are free thinking individuals free to make their own terrible mistakes. And often they don't see the danger because it's a 'different' danger.

Lastly,
No matter how stupid the mistake,
the man who killed her the blame for her death.

According to your way of thinking it is my fault my daughter was killed by a drunk driver while she was crossing at a light.

Now what should I have told her to prevent that????

We can't protect our children 24 hours/7 days a week.

Your remarks are absurd!

Blame the victim? Blame the victim's family?

How extraordinarily "progressive". Do you blame the 3000+ that died on September 11th, 2001? Do you blame our foreign policy?

What about the guy who committed the crime? Do you think he may have some culpability here as well?

The reason that "no one will ever point this out publicly" is probably because it's one of the most asinine concepts ever created. Shame on you.

you're an idiot, number one......

number two, where the hell is your condemnation of the FATHERS ?????....because of divorce, are they just exonerated?

and number three...it seems that young Ms. Behl was accepted into VCU , no small feat, so somehow, someway, that girl had some smarts......

she didn't use them, perhaps....but I 'd suppose you'd be happier if she didn't graduate from HS and became a Hooter waitress instead.....

go back to your cave!

I think you're being very unfair to the mother. I did some REALLY stupid things when I was young and foolish that could have ended badly for me, but for the grace of God.

My mom was great, I was stupid.

Absolutely disgusting that a freeper would blame the mother of a murder victim like that. You should be ashamed of yourself.

And you assume no one would be murdered if everyone was "careful".....? Talk about blame the victim.

Prayers up for you too, that you remain clueless.
