Blame the victim? Blame the victim's family?
How extraordinarily "progressive". Do you blame the 3000+ that died on September 11th, 2001? Do you blame our foreign policy?
What about the guy who committed the crime? Do you think he may have some culpability here as well?
The reason that "no one will ever point this out publicly" is probably because it's one of the most asinine concepts ever created. Shame on you.

Do you blame the 3000+ that died on September 11th, 2001? Taylor wasn't killed in an office building doing her job.
From all accounts she was killed in the bedroom of a 38 year old man she went to "skate board with" at 11:30pm just after leaving her college boyfriend earlier that same evening.
So your example looks kind of childish now doesn't it.
