Do you blame the 3000+ that died on September 11th, 2001? Taylor wasn't killed in an office building doing her job.
From all accounts she was killed in the bedroom of a 38 year old man she went to "skate board with" at 11:30pm just after leaving her college boyfriend earlier that same evening.
So your example looks kind of childish now doesn't it.

Is that requirement for you to stop blaming the victim? That they be "on the job"? It's the fault of the victim when they are murdered off the clock?

I don't understand what your point is, but I probably never will. You want to blame the victim in this case, but not in other cases?
Your position on this issue reminds me of how the police caught a serial rapist at UGA. The news media interviewed a guy who later turned out to be the rapist; his public position was that "they brought it upon themselves" for "dressing like sluts".
