but blame falls directly at their feet as far as I'm concerned

Oh, stop.

Blame belongs nowhere but on the murderer. Evil is in the world and it takes victims.

How come nobody was watching this young chick. She is just another young girl let out onto the street like a piece of meat vulnerable to all kinds of chicanery and skullduggery, all in the name of "women's rights." You don't let young girls run wild and then cry when they turn up as ground beef.

The biggest tragedy here is the repetitive stupidity.

I expected that...

Murderers have been around as long as humanity. They will always be with us.

It is precisely BECAUSE murderers are evil that parents OWE it to their children to teach them about the danger. Failure to do so is a failure of parenting.

I'm sorry that offends you. I'm sorry we no longer live in the Garden of Eden, I'm sorry we can't detect murderers in advance. But for Gods sakes you two need to GROW UP!

Failing to teach your children common sense methods of protecting their own safety just because there SHOULDN'T BE ANY MURDERERS, is just plain naive and stupid. And the results are obvious.

Exactly. Even sheltered, well-warned kids do risky things.

So, If I come across a rapist engaged in a rape and I shoot him, he is a victim and I am a murderer, correct?
His actions make him in no way responsible for his own death, that's what you are saying.
