That has been, and continues to be, the speculation. Moreover, I cannot recall seeing anything that said those files had ever been returned or yanked back from the Clintons.

I'm so relieved to hear this and PRAYING that something moves the needle of the apathetic public over the dastardly Clintons. I believe Freeh is squeaky clean. How *would* you defend yourself against the slimiest president ever while trying your damnednest to learn what was always afoot to protect your country from his reprehensible actions .. or at least be informed of the schemes? He and the Secret Service knew and know a lot about those years. I think he was really torn .. stuck between the rock and the proverbial hard place.

I'm not expecting much from the lamestreams, but all the right-sided radio talkshow hosts will trumpet it, and I bet it will sell like hotcakes. He'll be well protected .. as he needs to be.

Truth will out .. YAY .. maybe some of the history books will start to reflect the absolute filth and depravity of this menace called Clinton.

Now he'll be portrayed as a right wing extremist; a Republican hack; incompetent; etc. regardless of fact.

But then again, he did let raw FBI files be removed. Those files aren't even supposed to be read by anyone other than cleared FBI agents. When anyone requests a background check, even the White House, the FBI usually writes up a summary of the actual facts in the files.

They don't let all that raw information be seen in that much of it is unsubstantiated items. It could be they once interviewed a person's neighbors because they were up for some top secret clearance (I've been on the end of many of those phone calls and visits from the FBI every time my Air Force brother got another clearance as they updated his file with my information) and they were none too kind to him or said he had visitors at all hours of the night, etc.

But his book will be yet another volume in the massive library that will judge Clinton's presidency for the times as the unmitigated disaster it was.
