An example of our impatience is the hurricanes came and 24 hours later many were surprised New Orleans was not rebuilt that day. What you say is true but it is far beyond just impatience....it is juvenile and "Stuck on Stupid"
Which describes a large portion of this country!

We need more Bush supporters, thanks.

You show disdain to others. You are haughty in your responses. That's all that needs to be said. You are new here and you haven't gotten off on a very good footing.
You charge in when you should pace yourself and get a feel for the joint.
Maybe I am not the troll here eh?

I wouldn't call it the best but it was the first time I've seen the fire in his eyes and swagger in his step in a long time. Now to see if he has the cajones to back it up...I've always backed him. He can look ya in the eye and not flinch or look away. I'll bet we are real close to cross border conflict. One or both....

The funniest thing I see is that the very same folks that SCREAMED for MORE TIME for the likes of SADDAM absolutely REFUSE to grant TIME to the Iraqi PEOPLE!Damn good point.

I do not expect everyone to agree on everything, but Harriet Miers deal just seems blown up, because many wanted a FIGHT!
You damned right we wanted a fight! How does one destroy the enemy without a fight? I do not want the democrat party to exist as a viable political party. To achieve that end, at some point there must be a fight. You know in one way I miss the days when Clinton was President. At least then elected Repubs pretended like they had guts.

(I am conservative. That is NOT the same thing as Republican. Don't place party over principle.)

You charge in when you should pace yourself and get a feel for the joint. I have read here for a while. I ask you to show me an example of how a charged right in and show me how what I said was unacceptable or improper. That is show me what is improper about my pace. I really do not get what your criticism is but I offer to you that examples will aid me in understanding your point. As for distain, well, when it is shown to me I will show it back. Got any examples where I showed distain when it was not shown to me first? I look forward to a copy and paste of it.

>>>>>I'm amazed how many conservatives have become "victims" these last few days.
Tell me about it. What a bunch of f---ing quitters and pussies. Someone needs to change their tampons for them. It's pathetic to even listen to.
What percentage of decisions made by any level of government do we really expect to like? I'd say that number would be pretty darn small.
I was pretty p---ed off when Bush pushed The Prescription Drug Panderation Act, but I didn't run crying to The Dopertarians or The Constipation Party. Change comes from within the GOP or not at all. It will not be an easy or a pretty fight.
The GOP at least has a Mike Pence, a Pat Toomey, a Tom Tancredo and a Senator Tom Coburn. There is no analog in any other American political organization. You'll have to
fight to change and we'll all have to change or die.
However, this crybaby act over immigration and GWB's Supreme Court pick is just a sign that The Conservative Right is really no more serious or intellectually capable than The Daily Kos Left. America deserves better than that from us. Because if we don't, who will? Charlie Rangel?

UlmoLordOfWaters, Thanks.
On a similar note, the very same folks that hailed Bill Clinton for SAYING Saddam had to be removed now spend their days venomously opposing W and pubs in general)for actually DOING it.

Blair & the papers in London are ripping Iran today.

But, But, But, But, what Iran did is ALL W's fault and Blairs fault!!!!!
Sarcasm now off.
To: mzbzybee
President Bush has said from day one how it was going to be: long, costly and lives would be lost....Sure did, even went so far as to say that it might not be won in this generation's lifetime.....
Something that seems to have been forgotten by a lot of Americans....

Anyone who believes that the reason we are under attack by Islamofacists is because of Iraq or Afghanistan really has bee paying attention to history, particularly the last 40 years....
The fascists have been at war with us for approximately the last 1000 years.
This war might be new to many in the West, but to a significant percentage of the Muslim world, it never ended.....IMHO

That you would consider anything worth reading at DU simply confirms my opinion of where you'd be happiest posting. Know thy enemy.
What they think and how they think is definitely worthy of study. Freepers often visit the DU site just for that purpose so I am certainly not alone in that endeavor. I want to know how these people think, what motivates them and what they are planning.
In particular, in this case, I want to see whether they are for or against Meir. Right now they seem to think they came out ahead. Is that good news? I don't think so. Is that worth knowing. I think so.

the very same folks that hailed Bill Clinton for SAYING Saddam had to be removed now spend their days venomously opposing W, and pubs in general, for actually DOING it. Excellent point. Anyone can "say"...it takes a pair below the waist to "do". And the whining class would've taken W to task if he had done nothing, and we'd been hit again, with the stuff that the Left said existed (WMD) but now says it does not.
