The address begins in a few minutes. The White House has described it as a "major" speech dealing with Iraq and the War on Terror.
Sure, there's a difference. An islamofacisist wants to kill you. A moderate muslim just wants to see you dead.
I think many successes have been swept under the rug and to be honest, I would bet this remains the case in the foreseeable future.
The MSM just cannot bring themselves to give W or the country as a whole props even when props are due. It doesn't fit into their scheme of total and nonstop negativity.
W made a good speech today and soundbites are there to promote.I suppose we will see what the media chooses to do with them. I for one would like to see a few high profile actions take place. Not unlike the operations that have been launched in the last couple weeks in Iraq.
If people like Ann Coulter get their way, maybe the Republicans will just impeach him.

I did nothing that was not done to me my friend. However I do not see you saying the very things to those that posted to me about how they posted to me as you say to me.
When I am posted to with respect I offer it in return. When I am posting to an unknown I offer respectful posts. When i am posted to with distain I return it.
Can you honestly say I am wrong to return what is sent my way without saying anything to those that sent it to begin with?
As for brand spanking new, to this forum I am when it comes to posting. But it isn't like this is the first forum I have posted in.

Bush should have been making speeches on the WOT and pointing out progress etc etc in Iraq on a REGULAR basis

I do not expect everyone to agree on everything, but Harriet Miers deal just seems blown up, because many wanted a FIGHT! I think she will be good, but I do trust in President Bush's judgement, I think he knows more than I do about her.

On the contrary. I'm no DUer by any means. I am a loyal and very conservative Republican and I, like many others in that group, are extremely upset and are questioning the judgment of George W. Bush. This is not a conspiracy. It was my immediate reaction to the Bush's nomination of Harriet Meirs.
But it is interesting to see what they are saying over at DU. They are as mystified as we are concerning Bush's huge mistake. Many are crediting Reid with pulling over a major coup.

People who know me personally understand my sarcasm because they can see facial expression and they have knowledge of how I truly live my life. In here, I sometimes forget the /s tag..or I pop off because of Emotion. Unfortunately, it's hard to take back once one has misspoken.
The way I talk..would you believe I voted for Bush? That I respect Bush? Nope. Not always. So..Lets give a break here OK?
