LOL!!! I still cannot believe I got that email this time and not the last two times. We actually like having the one extra seat. I think I am going to email the people that sit in front of us to see if they got the same email as they had an extra seat as well.

Now that might explain why there was a check of the stadium before the game. The kid probably had his OU parking permit hanging from his mirror like most everyone else who parks at OU.

Crazy is right. You want to hear crazy, Monday night a reporter said that they did not know for sure this was the kid because they had not done any DNA which would take a couple of weeks. They identified him by the wallet.

Secondly they said it would take a couple of months to determine if it was an accident or suicide.

My question is this: if his Paki roomie was innocent, why did't he inform the authorities? As I mentioned on a related thread, a Paki student would be naturally careful about these things to avoid getting into problems with ICE and DHS. I don't think the guy is as innocent as his Muslim association president indicated.

I don't know where that 7:20 has come from but I have seen it several places. I thought it was almost 8 p.m. when it happened because the first half was long.

Saturday night just before halftime at the OU football game in Norman, OK, an explosion rocks the stadium.
The police padlock the gates of the stadium and let noone out at halftime.
Turns out to be a suicide bomb that the University president claims is an "angry, depressed" individual.
The story is reported on at least FNC as breaking news, but by Sunday morning it's just on ESPN.com and Sportsillustrated.com
FReepers and OKC Channel don't let it go that easily, and here we are now on this thread.
Still NO MENTION since Saturday midnight or so on the MSM.

Isn't OU President Boren and his son machine Democrats in the state of Oklahoma and close to the Clintons?

I wouldn't put it past them that they have been in contact with one another figuring out how to best play this whole thing against GWB and the Republicans to win in 2008.

Playing with lives of students is not a game, it's just absolutely abhorrent and criminal IMHO.

The AP and NY Times article that I linked above in this thread says 8 PM.

The posters claiming 7:20 "don't have time to find a link" to support their claim.
