3 videos on the right-hand video listing. Summary:
Hinrichs spent time in the same Norman mosque as Moussaui
Ticket to Algeria was found linking back to his Pakistani roommate
5 others possibly involved
Hinrichs attempted to enter the stadium and may have had a ticket to the game
Ok, this calls for a HUGE HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm. Please keep your e-mail, print it out....and as always, thanks for being here. :)
Reason # 3:
College football stokes the economy in a lot of places around the country. We can't afford a 'boycott' of sorts in football, 84000 in ticket sales, concessions, parking, gasoline, lodging, TV revenue, TV sponsorships.
Avoiding football games would do to local dependent economies much the same as the effect of people these days having avoided the airlines unless absolutely necessary to fly somewhere.
# 3 is similar to your reason # 2, but the 'panic' comes from our government related to the effect on the economy, not to a fear of vigilante behaviors directed at the mosques.
Read post 219 if you haven't seen it.
Thanks, clearly the adminstration does not control the MSM. But the MSM fears talking up such events would make people sympathetic to the adminstration. I promise if their is a succssful attack, the MSM will go back to all these events and say the adminstration blew it.
I cant get blogger.com either - maybe the feds are trying to control the flow of information.
You mean terror happy season don't you?
Time to take the two cities, kick them out and do the camps again. Cruel but necessary.
Locked, Loaded and ready to go Bernie Goetz.
I hope you are right...since the Texas Fair will be going on around the stadium at the same time the game is being played...
If the bomber had been at this game...he would have had a lot of people around him...kids mostly!!!
I can't recall EVER hearing of someone in the US building a bomb and blowing themselves up to commit suicide (intentionally as opposed to accidentally). Not saying it's never happened, just that I can't recall a case of it, ever. If it turns out that he did try (3 times) to access the stadium, and had more bomb-materials, jihadist materials and mosque connections, the only reasonable inference would be that he's a jihadist suicide bomber.
Sure hope this investigation doesn't go the way of the OKC investigation, where the FBI quickly shut down (due to Jamie Gorelicker or someone higher?!) all avenues of investigation except Tim McVeigh/Terry Nichols.
Good point.
Free shopping everywhere forever.
huh?
No personal offense intended, but this is day 5.
Any national "secret investigation" reason for claiming national security reasons for a "media shut down" was blown day two.
But if you are comfortable with the feds obviously blowing sunshine up your derriere, and if you still think the MSM is basically still in the actual reporting of news business, well...why are you here anyways?
Exactly! When I found out today that Norman Police has no money for such activities and our state is lax on terrorism, I couldn't believe it. That is part of the problem that started with the cover-up of the OKC Bombing, it has left everyone here off guard even after 9-11 because they have bought into the domestic terrorism for the Murrah Building.
On Monday afternoon, I heard an "alleged" student say that Joel came off as a militia because of his talk about guns and his wearing camoflauge (sp) pants, etc. It didn't fly but it reminded me of what was reported after the OKC Bombing across the country -- right wing militia no foreign ties. That story fell apart this time.
I thought all Islamic engineering students on jihad sabbaticals did this.
As opposed to . . .
I pick up three newspapers per day. Not that I read them cover to cover, but I do read all of the headlines. Not a WORD in any of them all week about this incident. (and I do read the sports pages first). Only mention to date is on Free Republic.
ROTFLMAO. What good would that be?
No pretty young blond involved. Although maybe the raven haired Persian young lady could substitute... If the MSM really wanted to cover the story, which they clearly don't. That includes Fox of course.
