A couple of Washington state teens are in a bit of trouble for eating seafood, of sorts.
Two boys swallowed live goldfish during an assembly at Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way. A school district spokeswoman said the kids were apparently fulfilling a promise they made if one was elected a class officer.
The boys got a stern talking-to and a letter to their parents.
But some animal rights activists feel the boys should be in hot water for eating live fish. A spokeswoman for PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, said the stunt deserves harsher punishment. PETA said killing fish in the name of school spirit is unacceptable.

LOL! If I were their parents I'd frame that letter and take them to Red Lobster for dinner.

I'd make sure the PETA people kept away from my kids too ~ we have more than one story out there about PETA members engaging in or supporting sex with animals. Lord only knows what PETA would want those kids to do with a live fish.

These people are seriously unhinged. One day we will have to confront ELF/ALF/PETA etc. with some formality.

Send these losers to Tokyo and buy them dinner one of the upscale Roppongi restaurants like Kani Seryna. Live shrimp is on the menu.

Well, yogurt contains live bacteria. I'll bet these freaks eat yogurt (at least douche with it) so proof again they are just hypocrites.

It is really good that these idiots unite under one banner and identify themselves so we won't have to discern who is an idiot in public. Too bad they dont all wear PETA shirts for idenity. Their spokes idiot is cute though.

We did observations of earthworms in my science class. One of the students wanted to know if he could eat a worm when we we finished with the class ( ALIVE). I said OK if you bring in a note from home . He did. He ate the worm( made sure it was a BIG one) , and washed it down with a Snapple. He became a legend in his own time ( in 6th grade ).

I had to dissect a live earthworm for Zoology in college. I just couldn't get past sticking the pins in it and watching it squirm. That's when I decided the biological sciences were not for me. Especially since my professor taught a whole bunch of other classes I had to take and he despised me for my reaction. (He made it VERY clear.) Smashing up the fruit flies in genetics didn't help either.

Dear PETA:
How many dogs have you gassed and thrown into dumpsters behind malls lately? I used to think you were just some looneytunes who were incapable of connecting with other human beings, so you decided to help animals. I now know that you are a sinister bunch of domestic terrorists who are not interested in animal welfare at all, rather you seek power through intimidation and publicity stunts such as the one contained in the above article.
You people stink. You are the worst of humanity.
Also, please be aware that I am using a photo of your RI billboard depicting the Madonna holding a dead chicken as my annual Christmas postcards. Every politician who has ever even acknowledged your rotten organization is going to get my Christmas greeting.
Your friend in Jesus Christ,
