If Bennett's statement were taken to be fact; he's totally wrong. Look at the numbers of blacks having abortions; a couple million in the past twenty years, yet black on black crimes is still high as is black on white crime. The problem is people like Farrakan, Sharpten, Jackson, Lee, and Rangle and people like them teach their young ones to hate. The are raised to hate, to want what thier neigbors have and to want everything given to them wihtout sacrifice. Slavery was a bad thing but their is not one person alive today that has personal experience in the USA. However, these same people do not condem it in countries like the Sudan because the situation is reversed, no blacks are the slaves.

About 7 to 10 years ago Congressman Peter King (R-NY), decided to take on the Nation of Islam. He was going to expose their racism, intimidation, and corruption. Me too, that was my first thought, he'd be better served to research the eugenic views of Margaret Sanger, and based on abortion stats in the black community, ponder whether her original intent is coming to fruition.
