A source loaded with anonymous information is not credible.
Eventually, the truth will be public and then we'll have more info.

It's entirely possible that this kid had every intention of walking into that packed stadium and killing as many people as possible. I believe he had second thoughts and decided to just end it right there on that park bench.

Thank you FReepers for all the great info.
I am suddenly seized with fits of laughter, thinking of Hinrichs as "Allah's Forrest Gump..." you know the wonderful shot from the movie cover with Forrest sitting on the park bench?
Of course I don't mean to insult Forrest, one of my all-time favorite characters. Hinrichs is like Forrest without the good sense that God gave him!
Just throwing out the idea for some clever FReeper to possibly create a spoof of the Forrest Gump bomber or some such. Ridiculing the "Religion of Pieces" and its stupid, maniacal followers is useful, I think.

I have yet to see this from someone that didn't use homelandsecurity.us as a source.
I need to find it sourced from someone else before I can give it real credibility.

First off, word's been floating around about Islamic material already. I've been searching for something solid. WND is a lot more solid than what I had Sunday.
"Eventually, the truth will be public and then we'll have more info."
Did you hear a peep about this bombing on talk radio yesterday? I didn't. NOT EVEN TALK RADIO! The Feds are growing long arms, indeed. How are voters supposed to know what kind of president we need in 2008?
One thing's for sure, at least WND is keeping this explosion from being completely buried from the news. We know it happened. God bless WND!

when two women in a car one of them pregnant detonated a deviceFor pity's sake. Someone tell me that she was coerced.

"TATP" is known for premature explosions also. He might have been resting/waiting for halftime/adjusting vest????
From the Net:
" Used alone, Mr. Davies says, TATP is favored only by the foolhardy.
>> The concoction, which he
>> describes as the "explosive of last resort," is easily mixed -- it is
>> known as a bathtub explosive -- but
>> less powerful than plastic explosives and far more volatile. Commonly
>> employed by Palestinian
>> extremist groups such as Hamas, TATP can be set off by random sparks
>> and sudden movements. "It's
>> very sensitive," Mr. Davies says, "and it's the main reason these
>> Palestinian groups have lost so many
>> bomb makers over the years."

A source loaded with anonymous information is not credible. Eventually, the truth will be public and then we'll have more info. Anonymous AND third-hand:
Doug Hagmann, a seasoned investigator, told WND he was informed by multiple reliable law-enforcement sources familiar with the investigation into the incident...
And these undisclosed but reliable sources are not willing to share this information with anyone except the redoubtable Mr. Hagmann?

There was a brutal multiple murder in a NJ town last year.
The rumors, uninformed sources, etc. all just KNEW that it was islamic crazies. This went on for weeks before the police would confirm any information at all.
Ultimately, it was the upstairs neighbors, drug dealers, who tried to rob and then murdered the family.
Nothing at all to do with islamo fascists.

Someone needs to call into all of the major talk radio shows and ask why this is not being reported.
Rush, Sean, Bob Grant, Boortz, all of them.

A source loaded with anonymous information is not credible. Eventually, the truth will be public and then we'll have more info.Has NEIN ever used a real, verifiable source for anything? NEIN seems to base its stories upon information obtained from super-secret sources deep within anals of the FBICIANSADHSLEO, who can't be disclosed because of ungoing investigations, national security, fear of reprisal, blah, blah, blah... In my opinion, only a small percentage of information that comes from NEIN is ever verified and that stuff is obvious, like tomorrow is will be light, followed by darkness. Seems to me that NEIN has a bunch of shills running around FR promoting the website whenever something happens than can arguably be associated with Islamic terrorism. Caveat Empteor.

WND's going to trash its own credibility if it keeps considering Hagmann as a credible source for anything other than the best brands of tinfoil. To WND's credit, they do direct the reader over to North East Intelligence Network in order to have them judge for themselves. But you're right, they would be well advised to keep a longer distance between themselves and NEIN.
It will be interesting to see if any of this pans out.

Yes, I remember that story, although it is little relief to find it was
only drug dealers, not Islamofascists, who did the heinous deed.
I just don't feel inclined to salivate on cue every time the mere possibility of terrorist activity is presented. There is more than enough verified mischief out there to occupy me and vent my rage against.
