It's entirely possible that this kid had every intention of walking into that packed stadium and killing as many people as possible. I believe he had second thoughts and decided to just end it right there on that park bench.

"TATP" is known for premature explosions also. He might have been resting/waiting for halftime/adjusting vest????

That is what I believe happened, too. I've seen very little about this story in the media, and no mention of a second, unexploded device, which was mentioned in the first report.
This kid's "emotional problems" are now over.

What about the real terrorists, the TROP, who would have had no problems with killing people in that stadium? The experts say that another attack is inevitable. How about deporting every last one of these people right now? Get them out of this country and keep them out. "Inevitable" my foot!

More likely he was in the process of arming the device and it malfunctioned.
