Not necessarily. There could be other things at work here, including avoiding setting off potential copycats while the NFL is in session, and keeping the volume down to as not to alert any possible accomplices of last night's bomber until captures are made.
All of your points are good. I am sure the press has been told by investigators to back off - and while the first instinct of the press would be to hide any evidence of Muslim involvement, I don't think they know enough about it at this point to be hiding much of anything.
I am glad that the FBI has taken over (or that is what I gathered from the most recent reports). The big mistake during the DC shootings was to leave it in the hands of the incompetent and biased local authority, the dread "Chief Moose." Maybe they've learned from this and are not going to let the local equivalent of Moose take over again and let more people get killed.
Copycats? You must run with a strange crowd. I know of nobody that is willing to blow their @zz up, to get 15 seconds of fame. I am aware of some certain, uh Muzzies, that plan, coordinate, and do this. Methinks this media blank is to deny operational info to the folks that did this. I for one do not buy the lone firecracker story.
That would be one good reason for the quiet. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
"until captures are made"
How far away is Glendale, AZ, BTW, from Norman, by car?
