Again you post a story written last night. Here's the story with an 11am update from this morning.
"Boren initially said a police bomb squad detonated explosives found at the site of the blast. But in a separate statement issued early Sunday, Boren said it was further investigation determined that the second detonation, which could also be heard in the stadium area, was done by the bomb squad to ensure there was not a second device. "
So they blew it up before they didn't blow it up. Is John Kerry the PR guy on campus?
And there is another story out now here in Norman that disputes the comments of this morning. Throw a dart and take your pick!
i.e., they blew up a backpack just in case it had a device in it, and later investigation determined that there were no explosives in it.
But, who can blame people for getting confused when reporters don't do their jobs.
