I have known a few threesomes, and I must admit that they all seem to have worked quite well. Using one as an example, the Male and "Female1" are professionals and make nice salaries to provide for the family, while "Female2" takes care of the children, and they all have time together in the evening.
I'd imagine that having two females would help alleviate the Coolidge Effect for the male, and likewise could remove child-rearing pressures from women who wish to pursue a career also.
I'm not sure what the effects on the children will be long-term, but I imagine they are better than with a straight homosexual (pun intended) family. I wonder if it's not a natural new paradigm for the changes that we've allowed to happen in our society already.
