Hmmmmm....another group of NYC elites seem to have their noses out of joint regarding the demise of the IFC.

Again, I'm not too disappointed. In fact - screw 'em.

Opinions on this editorial - anyone?

The time has come to fight the communist imposed "diversity" in all its forms. Be an American. Love it or leave it. No more cowtowing to whiny, spoiled, pampered minorities demanding everyone meet their every whim or be accused of racism or intolerance.

It has to start somewhere, friends. This is a real victory.

Untrue!!!I whooped, hollered, and gave a 13 quack salute with my favorite duck call upon hearing the news.

"mankind's hopes for freedom or democracy"

To quote the Daily News. When a small group of people try to impose their will on a site with deep, tragic meaning for the American public, that is neither freedom nor democracy. It is an elitist intrusion.

Why don't we put a big billboard up there, too, and lease it out to anybody who's got the money? Because it's not appropriate. It's a memorial. For people who died there, victims of a terrorist act. It's not appropriate to fill up the space with anything else.

Gov. Pataki's decision to eliminate the long-planned International Freedom Center from the World Trade Center site marks a low point in the tug of war that began over Ground Zero's meaning and symbols almost immediately after the calamity.

The absolute worst-ever terrorist attack on our country that killed ~3000 people and the LSM refers to it as a mere 'calamity.' Their traitorous text should be burned!

Debra Burlingame - a true American Hero.
