Pardon me, but the typical Grand Jury forman is not exactly an authority on the law

He added: "Mr. Earle has stacks and stacks of papers evidence of telephone calls from Mr. DeLay and everybody."Yes. Damning evidence that DeLay knows how to use the telephone.
Sounds like Earle managed to snow a bunch of dim bulbs.
Just keep talkin', Gibson, just keep talkin'.

thanks.
FWIW, as a deputy sherrif and state employee back in the Dem days of Texas, is there any doubt where his loyalties lie?

I would not be surprised to find out that Mr. Gibson is a Travis County Democrat activist.
In Texas, grand jurors are typically appointed by the judge overseeing a particular grand jury panel. The judges in Travis County are all Democrats.

Questions: is Lucy Ramirez on the grand jury? Was it held in Travis County? Was Robin Rather anywhere near the place?

they don't have a snowball's chance in hell with getting a conviction The objective was not a conviction; the objective was an indictment. An indictment is all that is required to cause Delay to step down. They finally got an indictment and Delay stepped down. A conviction is virtually irrelevant.

Nice find- of course it is against the law for this guy to be yapping.
It will be awful interesting to see where this guy pops up.
Is he going to be on 60 minutes?

I guess we need to know more about Willian Gibson... I guess the blogosphere needs to go to work and rat this guy out for who he is.
Anyone know anything about this jury foreman, his party affiliation, his campaign donations, his friends, his contacts? The way he is blabbering his big mouth, I would think there is stuff public stuff out there on him, maybe even some newspaper editorials?

I wonder if it was quilted?

weren't there either 5 or 6 previous grand juries who rejected the indictment? Five of 'em couldn't find anything wrong. Throw s*** against the wall often enough and something will stick or, as in this case, some leftist will claim something stuck. What a loser.
