A "hit list" threatening the lives of 13 boys and the Blaine High School principal caused many students to avoid school Friday.
A Blaine High School student found a note in the school hallway Wednesday afternoon with the words "hit list" written across the top, said Blaine Police Chief Mike Haslip.

Students face charges in Bellefonte bomb scares
Police say they will charge two students for allegedly making bomb threats at Bellefonte's middle school and high school this week.
A 17-year-old student at Bellefonte Area High School is thought to have called in the threat about 2:20 p.m. Monday, according to Bellefonte police Cpl. Daniel Holliday. Students were evacuated to the stadium, where they were dismissed at the regular time. The next day, a threatening note found about 1:45 p.m. in the sixth-grade hallway at Bellefonte Area Middle School cleared that school. An 11-year-old boy is thought to be responsible for that threat, Holliday said.

Parents warned of poem threat at Mohawk High
Mohawk High School students came home Friday with a letter informing parents that Pennsylvania State Police were notified about a poem found Friday afternoon on the wall of a boys' restroom stall.
The poem said: "Need Time To Think, Need Time to Think, Need to Spill Blood So I can Drink."

Boy arrested for making threat

An Emma Booker Elementary School student was arrested Thursday for drawing threatening pictures of his teacher, a police report stated.
According to a Sarasota County Sheriff's Office report, the boy allegedly drew a picture of his teacher being cut with a chain saw.

Authorities responded to a report of a suspicious item at the park at about 2 p.m., where according to witnesses, a suspect was in the area where pumpkins were displayed and removed the top of one of the pumpkins and filled in with items including multi-colored wires, placed the pumpkin back on the ground and fled the scene, police said.
